In this role, together with the local leadership team you will play an important role in the future direction and success of the site. Your main responsibility is the overall productivity at the site and lead a highly skilled production organization of about 100 people including operations, shift managers, planning & logistics and HSE Coordination.
Main focus areas:
- Be an active member of the local leadership team as well as leading the production management team.
- Provide direction by translating strategies and targets from central to plant level and communicate to the production teams how teams’ contributions support and impact the customer.
- Strengthen the culture – Support site effort to create a culture of safety, functional and operational excellence.
- Take the necessary decisions needed to secure that the production is operated according to existing routines and plans to Pulp and Performance Chemicals authorization schedule.
- Lead Performance and Delivery – Plan, lead, organize & control the delivery of production’s contribution to sites objectives and overall performance.
- Manage Hazards – Look for and respond effectively to hazards in safety, health, security and environment, taking account of people, plant, and procedures.
- Build organization – develop and build engaged high performing teams.
To be current for the assignment:
- Relevant degree (MBA, M.Sc.) required, basic knowledge in Chemistry/Chemical engineering is necessary to be successful in this position.
- It is crucial to have solid experience from the process industry in some kind, with several years of leadership from an industry characterized by strong focus on safety, health and environment.
- Genuine interest and aptitude to lead and excellent English language skills, oral and in writing

The assignment is carried out full-time and is expected to last for 6-8 months and starts on February 1, 2023.
