Interim Head of Operations

You report to the Nordic Operations Director and are an active member of the Nordic Operations Team.

You lead and develop 3 direct reports, Production Manager, Scheduling Manager and Supply Chain Manager,  and have an indirect team of approx. 40 people.


Main tasks:

• Ensure robust production scheduling that is aligned with the procurement strategy.
• Oversee inward supply chain and ‘on time in full’ customer delivery
• Drive the manufacturing output levels for both off the shelf and bespoke products.
• Promote and manage a lean manufacturing culture to achieve optimal operational performance.
• Guide proactive maintenance of all plant and equipment.
• Improve quality processes and procedures (ISO9001, CE marking regulations etc)
• Take a lead role with the Health and Safety Manager on HSE best practice.

To be relevant for the role:

• You are possessing broad based operations, production and/or manufacturing experience at a senior level (from R&D to end customer relationships)
• You have a proven track record of success gained within a complex, high volume manufacturing operation.
• You have direct experience of lean management.
• You have proven experience from driving improvements to processes, systems and controls.
• You have tangible expertise in driving change where it is required.
• You have financial acumen and budgetary understanding.
• You have some experience of material purchasing.
• You have strong leadership skills and are excellent in people management and used to managing multi-functional teams.
• You are fluent in English and Danish
• You have good IT knowledge, SAP experience is an advantage.
