Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Cut Over Lead to a large production company in Stockholm.
As the Cut-Over Lead, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the transition from our current systems to the new ERP platform. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities related to the cutover process, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations and maximizing the benefits of the new ERP system. Part of your responsibility will be to create global governance & scalability for the client to ensure a success rollout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutover Planning: Develop a comprehensive cutover plan that outlines the key milestones, tasks, and dependencies required for a successful transition to the new ERP system.
- Data Migration: Coordinate data migration activities, ensuring accurate and timely data transfer from legacy systems to the ERP platform. Collaborate with data migration specialists and technical teams.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to the cutover process and implement mitigation strategies. Proactively address any challenges that may arise during the transition.
- Go-Live Support: Provide on-site support during the ERP system’s go-live phase, ensuring a smooth transition and immediate issue resolution.
- Post-Cutover Evaluation: Conduct a post-cutover evaluation to assess the effectiveness of the transition process. Collect feedback and implement improvements as necessary.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in leading cutover activities for ERP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and their integration with existing systems.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of industry best practices for ERP cutover processes.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and starts around 9th of October. Estimated length is 12-18 months.
