Interim Search has been commissioned to assign an interim CFO to a small listed company in Skåne. The key responsibility is to lead the finance function, act as the primary strategic sounding board for financial analysis to the CEO and advisor to the Board of Directors.
Most important tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead and structure the finance operations for the company and its activities based on regular financial and business follow up and forecasting.
- Secure high quality financial reporting, both internally and externally, as well as produce financial analysis for strategic decision making.
- Gather, analyze and prepare relevant information for the management team and board to make correct decisions.
- From a financial perspective for other functions, in particular providing financial insight to the sales team.
- Governance and compliance matters, e.g., company policies and procedures and risk management.
- Increase and ensure the quality of the financial work to maintain and exceed the standard for a listed company.
- Monitor and report key business metrics and measure company performance through a variety of methods.
- Responsibility for HR activities.
Background and experience:
- The company seeks a result focused and business oriented financial professional with a strong track record from previous CFO roles or within Finance and/or Business Control.
- The right candidate is comfortable working both strategically and on an operational level and will add value to dialogues with the CEO and the Board regarding the strategic direction.
- The CFO must have strong interpersonal skills and should be an analytical, structured and driven person, who can support and challenge the CEO in the daily operations and strategic discussions.
- Broad finance experience with an understanding of accounting, financial planning & analysis, legal and management reporting.
- Experience in of corporate accounting and business control in a listed context.
- International Experience.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience from Public companies or PE environment.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
