Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Financial Controller for an international manufacturing company based in Switzerland. This is a broad financial role in which you will work on-site and collaborate closely with colleagues in Switzerland, and with teams across Europe. The company is experiencing strong growth and requires a candidate who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. You will be part of the management team, reporting to the Product Unit Manager, and working closely with the Financial Manager for EMEA.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Play a key role in developing and enhancing financial reporting methodologies.
- Accountable for the preparation and maintenance of core financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital expenditure reports.
- Follow up on, analyze, and provide clear explanations and comments regarding actual results, forecasts, and targets.
To be considered for the role:
- Experience as a Financial Controller.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-changing environments, with an understanding of how financial processes impact overall business performance.
- Strong expertise in financial support and accounting.
- Experience of budgeting and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills are required; experience with ABACUS and QlikView is advantageous.
- Advantageous if you have implemented new systems.
- Background from a manufacturing company.
- Fluency in both French and English; German is advantageous.
About the Process:
This is a full-time assignment with an immediate start. The initial duration is approximately 12 months, with the possibility of extension. Candidate presentations to the client will take place in week 16. Apply now!
